Testimony's "Saved By Our Lord Jesus Christ"

What inspired me to tell the world that Jesus Christ is the Worlds Savior is my living testimony.

It is what happened to me personally, and therefore I can not keep quiet but have to share it with the world. Anyone that is still alive and still has time and that hasn't accepted Jesus Christ as there savior, the wonderful news to you is that you are still under the Grace and Love of an Amazing Almighty Living God and His Wonderful Awesome Name Is: JESUS CHRIST.

My friends, here is my living testimony.

Through this I can tell you that there is an Almighty God out there that loves us all and He does not want to lose one of us. Some of us just by His Grace have received another chance, I am one of them.

I was born in 1954, a male growing up in a Christian home on a small acreage [small holding] near Hartbeespoort in the North West province in South Africa. It was 1971. I was 17 years old at that time and like most youngsters, I thought I could make and break the world. I was extremely rebellious towards my parents and would never listen to any advice they tried to give me at that time. No, I thought I knew everything and no one could tell me different. In short I was a sinner and a child of this world. I did not even think by that time that if I should die I would have been lost, yes lost forever, because at that time I did not know our Savior Lord Jesus Christ.



It was a school holiday and my farther had asked me to take our tractor, a big machine that is used to plough the fields and pull trenches, because he needed to plant some crops. I saw this as an opportunity to catch a tan during the whole process. I put on my swimsuit and start pulling those trenches. There was a tool I had to utilize and that is called a plough. The plough had to be manned by one of our workers and it was connected to the tractor by a long steel chain. The worker just had to hold the plough while I pulled it with the tractor. We were nearly finished when all of a sudden the plough got stuck. There was something under the ground which had blocked the plough and the tractor in a few split seconds rose up and fell backwards on top of me. There was no time for me to jump off because it happened too fast for me to react.

Guess where I was. I was pinned down under this huge metal beast. Blood and water was coming out of my mouth and ears and I could not breathe .The amazing thing was that I was fully conscious and could hear my father trying with his bare hands to dig me out, but to no avail. (My father past recently on 30/03/09, what an awesome earthy father he was!!! Then I heard his voice: “Almighty Jesus Christ I am on my knees in front of You and I beg You Lord please save my beloved son’s soul, You may take his life but please Lord save his soul.” I’ll never forget my father’s prayer because he was not worried about asking God to spare my life, but rather to save my soul.

Then a miracle happened. I remember, strangely enough I was fully conscious all the time, and then I saw a bright light surrounding the accident area and a hand reaching out to me. A beautiful voice spoke to me, believe me I then knew that it was God. “I Love you so much and because I Love u so much I will give you a second chance but it depends on your choice you would make. You must accept Me as your God and Savior, Believe in Me and you will be saved. You must be aware that I hold My Hand over you and time stands still. If I take My Hand away, you will die and be forever lost.” I then, as anyone that would be given a second chance through His Mercy and Grace said “Lovable Lord Jesus thank You for loving me so much as a sinner that You given me a second chance. Lord Jesus from today I will accept You as my only God and Savior. I give you my heart and freely I choose to follow you Jesus all of my life” My friends you can't imagine the glory that God shines out. It is amazing, Praise His Wonderful Name, Glory to Jesus Christ. He is Amazing. (Although after that day, because we all are sinners, I did not fully understand His perfect will & way, only through GOD’s patience, while I was growing closer to Him, did I learn & realize what His plan was for me.)


People here I was, still pinned down under the tractor. Do not ask me how many minutes had past, it could have been hours, yet here I was, not able to breathe but fully conscious and having this awesome experience with Jesus, His beautiful Hand still over me.


My uncle who was our neighbor, a builder by profession, and he later told me something strange happened to him. He was busy on a building site not far from our home when he felt a strange feeling in his heart telling him that he must take all his workers, load them onto his truck and make haste to our home. That's what he did and when he arrived at our home this was the situation as he saw it, me pinned down under the tractor.

He brought about 20 workers in total, and they all tried together to pick up the tractor but could not move it an inch. My uncle Willie van der Merwe then said to all his workers, “I am going to count to three and in the name of Jesus Christ let us lift it up.” My brothers and sisters you must believe me, he did just that and they lifted that monster of iron up like a feather and I crawled out.

While this was happening my father had gone to our home to inform my mother what has happening with me. She then called the emergency services to come and help and had also alerted the hospital. My father then out of desperation thought he would take his car, a Chevrolet the one with the wings and round tale lights and try to bump the tractor off me. So when he came driving towards the accident scene he found me standing next to my uncle and could not believe his eyes that I was no longer trapped underneath the tractor .

I got into the back seat of the car and at high speed he drove me to HF Verwoerd hospital which is in Pretoria. Upon arrival at the hospital, medical personal were waiting at the entrance because of my mothers phone call. I was rushed off to x-rays and then to the theater where a full team of specialists awaited me. The bone specialist then displayed my x-rays on the lighten monitor. He examined the x-rays and turned around saying the following to the sister that brought my x-rays from the x-ray room. “Please sister, how could you make such a mistake at this crucial time as to bring along some one else's x-rays. Rush this young man back to x-rays and bring his x-rays back ASAP.” The sister argued that they were in fact my x-rays but they rushed me back to x-rays and retook a full set again.


Back in the theater were I was lying on the operation table, the bone specialist again put up the new set of x-rays and examined them. He then turned around, taking off his face mask and calling everyone to come and stand around him saying the following, "I want all of you, and all of you are medical experts in your various fields, to come and see for yourself what I just seen on this boys x-rays. Today we all have witnessed a miracle that in medical terms is impossible, but I am telling you all today , we have witnessed that there is a living God and His name is Jesus Christ and He created a miracle with this young man today. I am telling you now that this young man will not spend one night in this hospital and he will walk out here by himself because, medically there is nothing wrong with him. A miracle happened to him. Look there is not a single bone broken in this man's body. These x-rays in front of us all are those of a healthy person’s body. Nearly all tractor accidents, as you all know, are fatal, with bones crushed and internal organs damaged. Come lets us praise the Lord together with this young man and thank God that we all now also know that there is a living God and nothing is impossible by His Will trough this boys miracle”

My friends, this is what happened. That night I walked out of that hospital on my own. Now you all know why I can't keep this miracle that happened to me to myself any more. I have to share it with the world. There is an Almighty living, loving, awesome God and His name is Jesus Christ and He loves all of us in the world. You can believe me or not, but I am a walking testimony, saved by the grace of God for 38 years already. He gave me a second chance and I am so grateful to Him. Jesus Christ is alive and He is the only one who could save you by His grace.

You can ask yourself, what would I benefit from this testimony? My benefit was that this did happen to me, and I myself experienced the Grace of Jesus Christ, merciful Jesus has extended my life from that day for a further 38 years and day by day.


Did you know that there is a Book called the Bible, which is the Word of God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit? If you do not have a Bible, I beg of you, get one as soon as possible and start reading. Jesus is so Awesome that when you read His Word you will start to understand the ultimate Love He has for you.


What happens every day?


You wake up and start with your daily routine. We live in a rat race world, doing worldly things over and over, until we die. No one knows what will happen to us after death, rich or poor we all have to go the same way. But through my faith in Our Lord Jesus Christ I know Jesus Christ Will Welcome me into His Kingdom.

Now for the big question which no one can answer but ones self? First, try to reason - why are we here on Earth? Let’s look around, starting with one self, is it not amazing how we were brought into this world, how wonderful our body is? It let us wonder whether there is someone out there in the universe, who is so Almighty that could create us all in His Wonderful Image, in a magnificent universe in which you and I live, on a tiny spot that is called Earth? He knows all of us by our names, He even know us long before we were conceived in our mothers whom. So even if we are so small my friend, yes we are small in comparison with the universe, God knows everything we do, He knows all our problems, big or small and He Loves us all.

So if we seek answers The Bible, the Word of God has all the answer for us.
Coming back to us, it does not matter how old we are, if we have not yet accepted Jesus Christ as our only Savior, then my friends we are not lost. God Loves us so much that He sent His only Son, Jesus Christ, to this tiny spot in the universe to become a man like all of us, with one exception, Jesus was born pure, with no sin. Were we otherwise are all born in sin, Jesus had to fulfill a prophecy on earth, God's Plan to give us a choice to become one of His children and be for given of all our sin, God did promise all of us that if we accept Him as our God and Savior, we will be Saved, all our sins will be forgiven and we will receive a internal life with Him. For those of you who have not accepted Jesus in your life, there is still hope. Jesus Christ Died for you’re to. Call out and repent your sins to Jesus, ask Him to forgive you your sins, believe and accept Him as your only Savior and you will be saved.


My friends sometimes as a sinner we say "I Wish I had the words" to talk to God, but you know it is not so difficult. You must read the Bible, go down on your knees, kneel down before an Almighty Loving God and say the following:" Dear Father in Heaven, God Almighty I am a sinner and I call on to You Lord Jesus Christ, to save me, I confess with my mouth in Your Holy presence Jesus that You are Lord and I believe in my heart that God raised You from the dead. Jesus You said "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies, and whoever lives and believes in Me will never die" Yes, Lord Jesus I believe that you are Christ, the Son of God, I believed You died in my place on the cross for my sins and Your precious blood washed all my sins away. It is by Your grace that I have been saved and through my faith in You as my only Savior. Thank You Jesus for saving me at the Cross, thank You Jesus that I am saved now by Your Grace and let the Holy Spirit from today take command of my life, so now that I know I am reborn and have a new life I will change the way’s I use to live and from today ill worship You as my only God”


I SHALL NOT KEEP QUIET ABOUT THIS MIRACLE BUT GIVE JESUS CHRIST ALL THE GLORY, ALL THE POWER AND PRAISE HIM BECAUSE HE IS MY LORD, SAVIOR AND MY ONLY LIVING GOD THAT I WILL WORSHIP. I SHALL PROCLAIM HIS WONDERFUL NAME UNTIL I DIE, FATHER SPIRIT JESUS SAVIOR OF THE WORLD. ILL KNEEL ONLY IN FRONT OF THY HOLY PRESENCE BECAUSE YOU ARE MY LORD, YOU LOVE ME AND I LOVE YOU AND YOU LOVE ALL YOUR CREATIONS IN THIS WORLD.Amen
